How and where i insert the Google Adwords tracking code

Navigate to System->Configuration->Design-->HTML Head Tab. Put the code in Miscellaneous Scripts field.

Please copy file \app\design\frontend\base\default\template\checkout\success.phtml into app\design\frontend\default\[TEMPLATE]\template\checkout\ folder.

Adwords conversion script should be put directly into app\design\frontend\default\[TEMPLATE]\template\checkout\success.phtml
